Message I upgrade with a newer part. Most of the sensors/switches on our z's are the same (same readings) as the newer style sensors/switches nissan uses on the newer cars, with the newer better connectors (like the 94 up injector's) Its easier for me because I have access to all the newer connectors/terminals I need to do this.
When i rebuilt my engine I put a new style knock sensor with connector, I replaced the coolant temp sensor with a newer style sensor and plug. The new plugs seal MUCH better and are a ton easier to deal with then the old clip style junk that came on our cars.
I have replaced a few things with newer style stuff as needed. If I have the chance the change it it gets changed to the better connectors.

Here are a few pics of some things I did. I also took out the stupid sub-harness for the CAS when the recall was done and used the newer style plugs on it also.
